Building Commission Now Involved with NDH Property Development

We have resorted to getting the building commission involved now and we have to basically start a conciliation process.

What a joke - I sent a letter to these crooks and they called acknowledging receipt of the letter and then organising a time to come out and review the list. He then failed to show up ... When I called 2 hours after scheduled appointment time, he said "I can't make it" and said "i'll reply to the letter via email"

The slimy creep then didn't bother replying at all and I decided that after 2 years of lies, deceit, and a complete lack of respect and contempt for me and my family, that I would go the the Building Commission.

When the building commission called, the lying, gutless, worthless creature said he's never received a letter and he thought everything was fixed... He then agreed to come out on site to go through the list! Great!!! Now I have to go through the list again for about the 20th time for all the same items we've discussed and they have committed to fix before...

The gutless twirp was obviously too insipid to just respond with a list list of things they would and would not do and instead, thought it appropriate to just say yes to everything and then ignore us hoping we'd go away!

My message to you - avoid these crooks at all costs... Unless you want to spend the next 2 years of your life being fed garbage, lies and complete crap, go with a company that has honour and respect!!!

NDH Property Development are liars and have no respect for customer service!

NDH Property Development are scammers!

NDH Property Development continually dishonour commitments

DO NOT BUY FROM NDH PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT (NDH INVESTMENTS / BUY PROPERTY DIRECT)
I am at my wits end. For 2 years I've been dealing with multiple people within NDH Property Development and am still frustrated with the progress of works. I am not an unreasonable man and am happy to negotiate but they are not interested. Their motto is say "Yes"...and then ignore them...ignore them enough times and they'll go away...

NDH are unreliable, dishonest, insincere and untrustworthy! They are inattentive to our needs and have completely disregarded us and our concerns treating us with contempt!

After 15-20 calls over the last year and 4-5 onsite visits, we're still no closer to having the items that they promised and committed too completed. The final straw was a letter written to a director expressing our dissatisfaction which was met with a commitment to meet onsite to discuss the items - not only with this commitment not upheld but the sub-sequent commitment to at least reply to the letter went unfulfilled.

I am disgusted with their cowardly approach to issue resolution and am now going to fight as hard and as long as I can to ensure that the understand the meaning of the words Customer Service, Commitment, Honour and Respect!

Enough is enough!

Extreme disappointment with NDH

Well... our house was finally finished and we got to move in - September 2009. They were clearly in a rush to get us in because there was no power (they connected temp power from the work site), there was no heating or cooling, no rangehood and the backyard was a disgrace - mud everywhere... no landscaping...Not to mention the whol in the roof in the main bedroom where the roof had leaked and formed a puddle so large they had to pierce the ceiling to let it drain!!!

It is now July 2010 and we are still trying to get resolution on issues that were raised over 10 months ago... They are just not responding anymore so we are now at a stage where we are about to get the building commission involved...

They have proven to be half-arsed at everything they do... NDH Property Development couldn't care less anymore... they got their money and now they're not interested... They answer their phone or email every now and then however, every discussion leads to another empty, unfulfilled promise...

Our garage has been flooding everytime it rains... They dug up our garden bed to fix it and it failed... They tried again... that was in April... 3 months later... the garden bed is still half dug up, the leak still exists and we are completely embarrassed with the state of our front yard...

I gave them the benefot of the doubt for 9 months... Now it's just a joke... They're just taking the piss now... Buy Property Direct / NDH Development have proven to be a very unreliable, shady organisation...

I just hope the building commission can assist in providing some form of resolution to the remaining 12 issues ...

Property development is underway...

I am extremely excited to say that NDH Property Development have finally commenced construction of our property in Rowville. While the wait has been over 13 months since signing a contract, it is almost worthwhile now we can see the structure starting to go up all across the land.

While the contract originally stated settlement of approximately December 2008, this is clearly unachievable now.  Discussions have been had and it is anticipated that now construction has commenced, each stage (3 stages in total) should take approximately 3-4 months to complete with a high probability of stages overlapping.  Based on this, stage 3 should be complete within 6-12 months depending on how much overlap and how efficient they can be.

Christmas is the timeline I am working to and any settlement after November will be considered a complete and utter disappointment. (considering that will make it 20 months since agreeing to purchase the property)  The additional money that we've already had to spend on rent, moving, disconnection and reconnection of services... I estimate that we have added an additional $15k to the purchase price just for the privilege of having to deal with them... This hurts...especially when they provide little to no communication and correspondance... They have cost us financially and have made no effort to assist or even apologise for the inconvenience caused...

Anyway, time to look forward and not backward...I thought I would add some photos so you can see the changes that have occurred from start up until now.

Treading lightly with great trepidation

I'm starting this blog because I am getting more and more concerned with our interaction with NDH Property Development.  I'm not saying that we've experienced a property development nightmare (yet), but concerns are starting to loom...

We signed up and purchased a house off the plan from NDH Property Development back in February 2008.  At that stage the block of land that was being acquired by NDH Property Development was still owned by Gearon in Rowville and they were operating their business from it.

The grand plan that was pitched to us was that Gearon would vacate the premises in the middle of 2008, construct the roads and footpaths within the new development and then hand it over to NDH Property Development to take over and start bulding the properties.  This was all supposed to happen before December 15th as per the date on the signed contract.

It is now the middle of February 2009 and development of the properties has not even started.  With the current economic crisis looming, I am beginning to get concerned as I have seen to many stories on ACA about families who have lost tens of thousands of dollars to dodgy developers... I hope and pray that this is not one of those situations...

The biggest concern thus far is complete lack of correspondance and communication from NDH Property Development.  All information obtained from them has been through a local agent who is assisting in the sale of the remaining lots so we have been lucky enough to have that relationship, and also from us calling them asking what is going on!

There has been no regular newsletter or emails confirming that everything is going to plan, although slightly behind schedule, we're basically left in the dark.  I hope and pray that this is nothing more than sloppy sales & account management and everything will be delivered as promised and we will be delighted with our purchase but after 12 months with little to no progress and even less communication, I'm starting to get worried...
